Job Description:

RLTY is hiring for a VP/SVP of Corporate Finance & Accounting.This is a key leadership role in a growing organization. The position will report directly to the C-suite and will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting functions. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, developing and maintaining the company’s operating model, and providing valuable financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The position will work closely with other departments and external stakeholders, including investors and auditors. The ideal candidate possesses a strong educational background in business, finance, or accounting and preferably holds an MBA or CPA certification, with relevant work experience in investment banking, finance, corporate finance, accounting, or consulting. The VP/SVP of Corporate Finance & Accounting is instrumental in maintaining financial stability, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring RLTY’s long-term success.

Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounting:

  • Own and optimize models, reporting, and analysis for the Finance & Accounting function
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements, reporting, and analysis
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate the year-end close process with external auditors, and ensure the successful completion of the company’s tax filings
  • Oversee payroll and cash flow management
  • Oversee Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Liaise with the Company’s accounting firm
  • Responsible for cash management; stay apprised of market conditions to optimize management strategy
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders and other financial institutions

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Manage the Company’s operating model and deliver periodic reporting on KPIs
  • Work closely with the executive team on critical resource allocation decisions including budgeting strategy
  • Analysis of market trends; make recommendations based on findings
  • Engage with existing investors to keep them apprised of the state of the business
  • Prepare information for, and interact with, new investors across various types of financing
  • Contribute to pricing strategy and contract negotiations

  • You're a leader who develops an ongoing evolution of next generation reports, dashboards, analyses, processes and methodologies for assessing performance
  • Strong operational mindset - understands how to work across the organization and partner with department leads on establishing processes and procedures
  • An executor who works across multiple project deadlines, while managing stakeholder expectations and maintaining high quality of output
  • A strategic planner with demonstrated experience executing on strategic plans
  • A leader with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive and able to operate independently, as well as manage and motivate a team of finance professionals

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting is required. MBA or CPA is preferred.

4+ years of previous experience in investment banking, finance, accounting, corporate finance, or consulting

Excellent proficiency in Excel.

Proven track record in managing financial and accounting initiatives.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.

Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with financial software and systems.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Adaptability to changing industry and regulatory standards.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time position onsite in Colorado.

Salary $150-$200k. Compensation and benefits will be competitive and commensurate with experience. RLTY is willing to consider a compensation package that is a mixture of cash and equity consideration, if so desired.
