"Gyokko dono, can I come with you~? I really want to slay the demon hunters with you!" Douma exclaimed as Gyokko trembled. "No, Douma...Gyokko will go with Y/n and you will go home." Muzan stated as Douma had fake sadness plastered on his face. "Oh...that is so sad...I really wanted to come wit Gyokko-dono but I guess Y/n is beautiful sooo I will let that slide." Douma exclaimed happily as he stared at you with admiration. "Nakime, teleport these 2 to the area that I assigned you to, now." Nakime then teleported both you and Gyokko to that location while Douma sighed as he also got teleported. "Aww...I wanted to go with Y/n too...she is such a beauty!" He sulked but his followers called him and forgot about it.
Meanwhile with you and Gyokko:
"Working with you seems really sublime, isn't it, Y/n?" THe uppermoon 5 laughed as you nodded. "Yes, I agree...I can't really shake off the feeling that I met you somewhere before...it's probably my mind playing tricks, I don't know..." You stated as Gyokko stopped moving and stopped in his tracks. "Hyo, you're kinda right...your face looks familiar in some way, like we met each other in the past, in my human life but I can't put my finger into it..." He kept thinking as you sighed. "Let's just think about this later since there are slayers here and we need to kill them to impress our master." You stated as he agreed. "Hyo, I suppose you are right...we can talk about this later since we have a mission to do-" But before he could say more, a slayer went in and disturbed your conversation with him. "Oh shoot...an upper moon and they spotted me, I'm gonna die now..." The slayer stated as Gyokko got insulted. "Can't you see we were talking?! It's rude of you to disturb our conversation, I bet your parents never taught you manners!" Gyokko stated as he landed an attack on that slayer which the slayer gasped at that.
Now that I've talked to this demon up close, I think he reminds me of my husband from the past...I think his name was Manegi? Yes, that's him. Manegi always acts like this and not to mention, he paints pots for a living...I mean, this demon can't be him since he does not look like him. WAIT, WHAT AM I SAYING?! DEMONS DON'T LOOK LIKE THEIR PAST SELVES!
Some backstory years ago:
"Oh, darling! You sold another pot and made a lot of money from it?! You're really impressive!" You exclaimed as Manegi laughed. "Of course, my art is really amazing and it's really expected that someone will buy my marvelous art!" You giggled at that as he crossed his arms proudly. "You're a bit too confident, are you, my love? I get it that your art is lovely but don't be too confident." He rolled his eyes with sarcasm as he just smiled. "I mean, how can I? I'm the best painter in Japan or maybe, even the whole world! Because I'm the best or you're the best..." He mumbled and blushed as you giggled. "Yeah, that's right...I'm the best wife you'll ever have, my love..." You giggled as he blushed more. "Shut up! Y-you did not hear anything! Let's just eat, stop teasing me!" He exclaimed as you just laughed at his flustered reaction and served him the food you cooked. "Your cooking is always delicious, no one can beat your cooking, not even the best chefs in the world!" He exclaimed proudly as you blushed and giggled. "Thank you, my love...also, your art is the best art in the world in my opinion." He gasped and shook his head. "UH OPINION? IT'S A FACT THAT MY ART IS THE BEST ART IN THE WORLD!" He exclaimed as you found his reaction cute but you then calmed him down.
It's really a misty memory but I think Manegi just disappeared out of nowhere and never came back...so Muzan sama saw me in despair so he offered to turn me into a demon so I agreed since I had no reason to live anyway. I did have to kill some humans to get stronger though. People might think I'm evil but it's also the same for humans, killing animals' moms or children just to survive off this world...
"HYo, we did it, Y/n! We killed the hashira and the other slayers, that was really easy!" Gyokko exclaimed proudly as you snapped out of your thoughts. "Oh, you killed them, Gyokko? You are really strong...I was just thinking of something and you killed them already? Wow..." He laughed as you gave him a nervous smile. "It was easy, all I had to do was trap them in the water pot and then they would run out of air and then they would die, so pretty, right?" He asked in a sad*stic tone as you agreed. "Yeah, it's fascinating how your blood demon art works, Gyokko...I think it would take a lot of hashiras to kill you." You praised him as he laughed, he likes getting praised anyway. "So...let's talk since you really look familiar! Let's be best friends, Y/n!" He asked as you were stunned for a second. "Sure, I would like to get to know you more since you also look familiar!" He nodded and laughed as both of you went somewhere. "𝓨𝓸𝓾'𝓻𝓮 𝓯𝓪𝓶𝓲𝓵𝓲𝓪𝓻 𝓫𝓾𝓽 𝓘 𝓳𝓾𝓼𝓽 𝓭𝓸𝓷'𝓽 𝓻𝓮𝓬𝓸𝓰𝓷𝓲𝔃𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾...𝓘 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓴 𝓘 𝓶𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽 𝓷𝓮𝓮𝓭 𝓼𝓸𝓶𝓮 𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓻𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻 𝔂𝓸𝓾." You nodded in agreement as he kept talking about himself and his accomplishments.
I have to admit, if me and him hang out everyday, I think I might remember who he is and currently right now, everything is a misty memory...I hope I remember who he is and who he was when we were humans. Hanging out with him is actually fun so I guess he is not that bad so "don't judge a book by it's cover"
