John T. Dunn, of the Northwestern district over the week end. Saturday night, on Pennsylvania avenue, Sergeant Dunn saw a man walking down the street in a blue overcoat and asked him an appar ently innocent question. "What kind of whisky do you drink?" the scrTeant asked. Seagram beven, the man answered.

Woman Reported Robbery "What a coincidence," Dunn re plied and arrested the man on the spot. What the man didn't know was that the ruestion was as loaded as his pants pocket which held a bottle of that kind of whisky. Five minutes earlier, Mrs. Mar-Caret Davis, Negro, of the 1300 block Myrtle avenue, had told police that she had been beaten and robbrd by a man wearing a blue overcoat who had fled with her purse, containing $18 and a bottle of whisky. The suspect was brought to the Northwestern Police Station where he was given a thorough search.

A bottle of whi'-ky was found in his pocket, but the police could not find any S18. $13 In His Handkerchief When they had just about given tip, the suspect raised his arm to wipe the sweat from his forehead. In his hand was a handkerchief and from between the folds of the handkerchief, there appeared a tint of preen. The handkerchief was opened and there was $18. Kddie KIlis, 32, Negro, of the 1300 block McCulloch street, will ho given a hearing today on the charge of assaulting and robbing Mrs.

To Centsr Of Town Baltimore finaUy took the parade for granted and stopped looking up, and after awhile, deciding something should be done to acknowledge progress, built Friendship Airport. If regular helicopter service is begun from Friendship to Sam Smith Park, progress will finally be right in the center of town. Then man can speed from Los Angeles to Friendship in ten hours. At Friendship he can hop into a jitney-copter and, eight minutes later, be at Light and Pratt. Fwm thft point, only one impediment remains: At Sam Smith Park, the traveler will be unloaded on the south side of Pratt street.

All the hotels are north of Pratt street. Thus, to reach a hotel from the roptrr-port. he will have to cross Pratt street, an operation that can take up to fifteen minutes in a typical traffic jam; then find a taxi, often an impossible feat; and finally ride a few blocks through downtown trafuc, an ordeal that takes inly slightly less time than a flight from Los Angeles.
