Keira Jo Sprouse, 24, pleaded guilty in Wake County Superior Court on Wednesday to second-degree murder, felonious hit-andrun and driving while impaired. A judge sentenced Sprouse to a maximum of 15 years in prison. Police said Sprouse was driving an estifated 113 mph on Jan. 19, 2015, when she hit the back of a motorcycle operated by 50- year-old Thomas James Anstey as he drove on Raleigh's Beltline.
Sprouse left the scene of the accident and abandoned her car. She was arrested at her home. Court documents showed Sprouse registered a 0.131 blood alcohol content. SALISBURY Woman pulled gun on workers A Salisbury woman is free on bond after authorities said she pulled a gun on two Duke Energy employees trying to shut off power to her house. The Rowan County Sheriff's Office charged 46-year-old Jamie Michelle Euart Honeycutt with misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun.
The sheriff's office said a Duke Energy worker called authorities because Honeycutt came at him and his co-worker with a gun. The report said both men jumped into their company vehicle, and when a deputy arrived at the home, Honeycutt was still holding the gun. Honeycutt is free on a $500 secured bond. It is not known if she has an attorney. Rocky Mount police have obtained warrants against two men suspected of jumping a man on Monday night. Sean Bridges, 20, of the 300 block of High Street in Rocky Mount, and Devone Brown, 21, of the 300 block of Marigold Street in Rocky Mount, are wanted for felony assault on a disabled person. They have not been apprehended. According to police reports, a 28- year-old man was walking on Grace Street near the railroad tracks when three men stopped a vehicle near him and began to assault him. The suspects reportedly beat and kicked the victim in connection with an ongoing dispute then fled in a white car.

She made her debut in Raleigh, NC in 1957, presented to society by the Terpsichorean Club. She graduated in from Salem College in Winston Salem with a of Science in Home Economics. In the early 1960s, Anna lived and worked in New York City and studied at the New York School of Interior Design. Anna has lived in Greensboro since 1963, where she raised her three children. She was a member of the Greensboro Junior League, was involved with volunteer organizations such as Mobile Meals, and has been a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church for many years.
Her generosity was notable to all. Anna was an amazing cook, and used her gift to nourish those she loved. Her artistTy was evident not only in her cooking, but in her presentation. Anna looked forward to annual trips to the beach with her family. She was devoted to her family and friends, especially her four grandchildren, and beloved by all.
To know her was to love her. Anna was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Leon Jenkins Yelverton. She's survived by her children Christiana George Anthony and husband Eric, Amanda George Carroll, and Benjamin Michael George and wife, Lori Perkins George; grandchildren Austin Kendall Anthony, Hannah Reyes Carroll, Calliope Parker George, and Darby Collins Anthony; brother, Ben 0. Yelverton, Jr. and wife, Joan Currie Yelverton; and sister-in-law, Nancy Yelverton Chambliss.
