Job OverviewOur Emergency Department prides itself on setting the highest professional standards and providing first-rate care. It treats over 115,000 patients in it’s dedicated paediatric, adult and minor injuries units each year.
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic person to work in supporting the team to deliver high standards of care.
As part of the role you will be required to clean all clinical surface areas, including medical trolleys and medical equipment. As well as ordering supplies and restocking clinical cupboards and ECG machines.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team of emergency nursing and medical and support staff.
Main duties of the job
To clean and maintain the dynamaps
To maintain and clean the commodes
To maintain and clean the stock room
To close, dispose and replace sharps bins in clinical areas
To order stores and supplies via Eros
To maintain stocks via Eros including ordering nonstock items
To liaise with supplies i.e. outstanding deliveries from external supplies
To ensure all non-stock items do not run low and are never depleted
To take responsibility for medical devices, stock and non-stock levels in the emergency department including the resuscitation room
