A Flomaton woman and a Pensacola man were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Pensacola.

Alisha Janette Bradley, 45, was booked into the Escambia County Jail, charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana under 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bradley was the driver of a Ford Crown Victoria that the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office pulled over for an expired registration near the area of Beverley Parkway and North W Street in Pensacola.

An ECSO K-9 alerted on the vehicle, and deputies located six plastic bags of marijuana, one plastic bag of synthetic cannabinoids (spice), a cigarette container with two “rocks” that tested positive for cocaine, and a smoking pipe that tested positive for cocaine, according to an arrest report.

A passenger in the vehicle, 68-year old William Creed Lawson of Pensacola, was charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana possession less than 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A rock-like substance that tested positive for cocaine was found in his pants pocket, the report states.

Lawson told deputies that he uses cocaine and marijuana and explained that he had a plastic bag contained marijuana in a backpack in the back seat, ECSO said.

Lawson remained in the Escambia County Jail with bond set at $3,500. Bradley remained jailed with bond set at $6,000.

    @Bill T

There’s an old story about a boy on a beach. The tide had brought in millions of starfish, who were now all slowly baking in the sun. The boy ran around tossing as many of the starfish back in the water as he could. A random man walking by asked “why are you wasting your time trying to save the starfish? You’ll never get to them all. It doesn’t matter”. The boy tossed another starfish in the water and replied “it mattered to that one”.

It sounds like you’ve checked out and you have decided that the lives of your neighbors don’t matter. That’s really sad, and I hope that you figure out how to work through whatever happened in your life to make you that way.

@BOB oh yeah let’s keep waiting watching and wasting time and effort on people that don’t even care about anything or themselves !!! Oh and people like you gonna fix it well my question is why haven’t you already fixed it ?? Why because people like you do a lot of talking and no action just talking !!! The easiest thing you could do is what you are doing now NOTHING!!!!!

Imagine being messed up enough to tell people to stop having sympathy for their neighbors.

Personally, I think that we should continue taking meaningful steps to try to save as many lives as possible by reducing the proliferation of illicit drugs, combating poverty, and rehabilitating addicts.

But if you aren’t capable of basic human empathy, you do you I guess.

@TB I know you are sympathetic for these people and I realize you don’t understand anything about dealers and drug users !!! They go hand in hand !!! Some people you can’t help because they won’t accept it no matter what you do or say or try !!! Dealers sell drugs for money as much as they can get the money is soooo easy it addictive and they usually never stop no matter what you do or say never!!! So with that being said and a fact STOP being sympathetic about people and things you don’t and never will have any control over and nothing you say or do will help these folks !!! But if you feel the need to waste you time effort and money have at it ok !!!!

Isn’t it scary when you read and see by their mug shots how many totally spaced out people are driving on our congested roads?

It’s so sad looking at these victims of “Drug Dealers” their lives are a mess, they don’t deserve this fate, they should be living better than this.
I really have a hard time understanding why so many people sympathize and try to protect the drug dealers.
These two individuals need to be put into a rehab program, cleaned up and given occupational therapy so they can live productive lives.
I know people are going to attack me for saying this but they need to give up their drug contacts and the dealers need to go to prison or cut deals for lighter sentences when they give up their suppliers and on up the line.
And if it winds up in the lap of a high profile person so be it.
We need to put a stop to this destruction.
