Steps for downloading the data you need (For more details, go to FAQs)

  1. Use the filters to the left to choose your data of interest (Tip: For File Specification and Data Group filters, hover over titles for more information)
  2. Select "RESET FILTERS" at any time to return to the default filters
  3. Once you have selected the data you need, click on the "DOWNLOAD DATA" button to download CSV and data notes. Your data will export immediately.

Note on download size: If the current size of the dataset exceeds 250,000 rows, the Department recommends that you use filters to reduce the size of the file (e.g. select a subset of states) and download the file in batches. A file that exceeds 1 million rows will not download completely.

ATTENTION returning users: To improve site performance, the default for this page has changed to one state only.

Please choose all your filters of interest BEFORE updating the state filter to your state of interest. If you want to download all states in a file after choosing your other filters of interest, choose 'Deselect All' in the state filter. The boxes will remain empty, but all states will be in your dataset.

The data file downloads functionality will not work with Internet Explorer. Please try again using another browser (Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, Safari)

2021-2022 ALL STATES 125, 127, 180, 181 629, 657, 782, 784 SEA, LEA The following states did not receive Title I, Part D, Subpart 2 funding in SY 2021-2022: Bureau of Indian Education, Delaware, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, and Utah.
2021-2022 NORTH CAROLINA 138, 116 675, 648 SEA The number of EL students reported in FS138/DG675 differs by 12% from students reported in FS116/DG648. Headcount (FS116) is taken in November of each year, and includes PK students. Assessed (FS138) count is taken in the spring. The expectation that these two counts should match is puzzling. NC has checked these numbers and can report that they are both accurate as reported.
2021-2022 NORTH CAROLINA 116 648 LEA In 1 LEA(s), the data indicate a change of 50% or more between the current school year and the prior school year reported total in FS116/DG648. Because of the small EL population in this LEA, this increase appears more significant that it actually is. Data are accurate as reported.
2021-2022 NORTH CAROLINA 127 657 SEA, LEA Year to Year Comparison: The unduplicated count of students reported in Subtotal 1 changed by greater than or equal to 50% between the prior year and current year for the following Title I, Part D, Subpart 2 program: Neglected programs. When COVID first started, we saw a drop in enrollment, however as we re-emerge from COVID, our numbers have returned to normal and in some cases increased as behaviors were exacerbated. Data has been reviewed and are accurate as submitted.
