H. McIntosh HENDERSONVILLE Robert H. (Bob) McIntosh, 82, of Hendersonville, Rt. 5, died unexpectedly Wednesday in a local hospital. Mr.

McIntosh was a native of Yancey County and was a retired farmer. He had resided in Henderson County for the past 22 years. He was the son of the late William and Michele Styles McIntosh. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Angel of Rt.

5, and Mrs. Marion Robinson of Fletcher; a son, William L. McIntosh of Johnson City, a stepson, Ray Roland of Rt. 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.

m. Saturday at Barker's Creek Baptist Church near Burnsville. The Rev. Ralph Banning and the Rev. Lyman Wilson will officiate and burial will be in Roland McIntosh Cemetery.

A. Maisenbacher, commander of the U.S. Army Reserve in Asheville, discussed differences in the life of East and West Germany at an Asheville Cosmic Club meeting Thursday night in and Cafeteria. Co. Maisenbacher, recently returned from Berlin, illustrated his talk with color slides.

His pictures, taken on both sides of the Berlin wall, showed the prosperity of West Germany comparison to the poverty in East Germany. Maisenbacher told the club he saw the construction of the twelve and a half-mile-long wall, which was built with forced labor in three and a half days. In other business, it was announced that a club board of directors meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, in the home of Clyde Horton.

Horton was program chairman and D. D. Smith presided. Venizelos, 69, Dies On Ship ATHENS, Greece (AP) Sophocles Venizelos, a former premier of Greece, died of pulmonary ailment early Thursday aboard a cruise ship returning him from a political campaign trip to Crete. He was 69.

Venizelos served several short periods as premier and foreign minister in the past two decades. He had been foreign minister as recently seven weeks ago in the government of Premier George Papandreou, which resigned in December after 50 days of existence. Venizelos died on the liner Ellas. The vessel turned back once for Suda Bay, Crete. Mrs.

Emma Leach PINEOLA-Mrs. Emma bertson Vance Leach, 94, died at her home here Thursday. Services will be at 2 p. m. Sunday at Pineola Baptist Church.

Mrs. Laura M. Stepp BLACK MOUNTAIN Services for Mrs. Laura McGinnis Stepp, 90, of Black Mountain, who died Wednesday, will be held at 2 p. m.

Mull BREVARD--Harry H. Mull, 62, of Brevard, died Thursday in an Asheville hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Transylvania County, and a retired foreman for the Florida East Coast Railway. During his active career, he lived in Miami, Jacksonville, and Jupiter. Fla.
