The affair will take place this year Monday evening, December 29. Miss Daphne Brown has been appointed general chairman for the big event. and is corralling her forces to an unusually attractive event of it. Mrs.

Jack Brown has been named chairman for the invitations, which are to be issued week to several hundred of Asheville's smart set and to friends in other towns. Mrs. Frank Hood, is chairman of reservations. Miss Kate Jones will be in charge of cabaret features and costuming. Mrs.
